Dead-beat roommates are gone.. we are goin' out: DOIN IT!!

Yay!! No roommates this weekend!!!

When the roommates are away, Brenda and I will play! After our massive cleaning spree on Friday- we decided that we deserved a night out! Our night started at The Craftsman, an awesome local pub with the T.V's showing recent Rugby and Soccer games... I also got to enjoy my first REAL burger from New Zealand (previous ones I have eaten from local fish n' chips places have not ended well...) After that and a glass of wine.. Brenda and I stopped at this AMAZING place that we always pass on Courtney Place called 'Cha.' There are delicious looking cakes (FAT) that ALWAYS stop us in our tracks.. LITERALLY. So we stopped in there where we picked up a few pieces of cake and walked to Megan's place to meet her and Morgan. It is safe to say they were excited about the cake as well! After catching them up on our day, we were sitting around talking when all of the sudden Carter and Karim (yes the annoying photog...) showed up.
True Love.

Why is he everywhere?

After talking with them, we decided it was time to go to town. We were excited for a low-key night @ a local place called 'Alice.' Alice is known for serving drinks in tea-pots (think Alice in Wonderland..) We enjoyed ourselves (and some drinks...) and then Brenda and I headed home. But not before, Megan scored a number... (get er done...) Best thing about heading home that night?? Dumb and Dumber were not going to be there! Wooo!
Boogie Wonderland.

Love them!

Brendaaaaaaaaaa!

True friendship.
Proud of you!

The next morning, I got up and met Lauren for our work-out class 'Oxigeno' It is sort of a mixture b/t Yoga, Pilates, and just plain stretching. It was nice to get in a morning work out. Then I had to take Brenda to Espressoholic because she had never been (what a shame!!). After that we headed home to get ready to have some people over. After cooking dinner, Brenda and I decided not to have people over because Megan and Morgan had an accident earlier that day that threw them off a 15-foot wall... (read their blogs for more info!) Safe to say- that was a MAJOR buzzkill for the night.. after we found out they were safe and sound.. Brenda, her friend Jess, and I decided to head for Goodluck and enjoy a night out of dancing. The next day was low-key where Brenda and I tried out a new place for lunch, Dixon Street Deli, and then bought some more grocery essentials for the week.
Roomies!

Oh, the lazy Sunday... a fun weekend it had been.. ending with taking a snap shot of a local school- which reminded me EXACTLY of Summer Heights High (where ya been?!.. score!!)
Public schools are soooo random!!

Great ending to the weekend, which was nice seeing as how the next two weeks would consist of me being locked in the library... 2 tests this week and 2 essays next week.. wish me luck!!! XOXOXO
